Storing Lithium Batteries: The Great Confusion

Found in nearly all of our everyday objects, the issue of lithium batteries goes far beyond the added convenience they provide. An essential technological building block for decarbonizing industry, a matter of European sovereignty over the raw materials they contain, and the development of a reuse and recycling sector... They also draw attention when accidents occur. Regulations that take these new risks into account have therefore been under development by the DGPR for around two years. But delays in issuing the corresponding order containing requirements are putting the designers and operators of buildings that store them in a difficult position.
